Thank you for visiting my page.
I am a final year medical student at Leicester Medical School. I have to say that doesn't sound real! Its been one hell of a journey, but now I'm so close to the end.
It's been one long slog, having to pay £9k upfront each year (due to this being a second degree and not being eligible for a tuition fee loan). I've worked alongside studying, I've hosted fundraisers, I've applied to every charity under the sun. By some miracle the hard part is over, and I'm now partially funded by NHS bursaries. However, final exams are coming up and I'm still facing a deficit for this last year.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference. It's one less moment worrying how I'll pay the rent this month. It's one less moment spent desperately trying to apply to grants. It's one less moment of stress and tears. There's been a lot!! It makes all the difference.
