Hi, my name is Priya Datta, and this July I will be travelling to Panama as part of a joint medical brigade with the University of Edinburgh and Imperial College London.
We will be working alongside licensed medical professionals and local teams to run mobile clinics in rural communities, supporting triage, consultations, pharmacy services, dental care, and public health education. Many of these communities have limited or inconsistent access to healthcare, with shortages of physicians and essential medications making even basic care difficult to obtain.
This brigade is organised through Global Brigades, an international non-profit organisation that partners with communities to improve health outcomes through sustainable initiatives. It is a privilege to be part of this student-led global health movement.
I am fundraising to help cover the cost of medical supplies, medications and clinic operations. Your support will directly contribute to providing care for individuals and families who rely on these clinics.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read and support this cause — every donation truly makes a difference.
