Univ. of Florida Hockey 2022-2023 Season

Hello all,

The University of Florida Club Ice Hockey team desperately needs help for the upcoming season. After experiencing significant growth as a club and adding an additional team, the student-athletes who make up the two teams are responsible for fundraising for both teams while given minimal financial assistance from the university. This group of students travels across the country representing the University of Florida while competing against other universities. While many universities have invested more heavily in their hockey team, we are not provided with simple necessities such as ice for practices and games or even a team bus and hotels for away games. Your donation will help support the necessary costs for our players and will allow the players to travel and lodge safely.

The team will be receiving minimal funding for next season, so the student-athletes making up the team have been tasked with fundraising entirely on our own. We request donations from our gracious friends, family, fans, and alumni to help make this happen.

The camaraderie of the team has created a family with lasting bonds. These student-athletes dedicate so much of their time to playing the sport they love. With such a strong passion for playing, we are desperately calling out for help to provide our teams with simple necessities to allow our players the opportunity to compete safely.
