Before this is explained, can you imagine what it feels like living in Manchester & getting asked to help families who can't afford to put food on the table; but you can't help them due to lack of funds? Well this is why this page was setup.
We don't have enough finances to help the currently growing list of such desperate families, your help is needed, urgently!
This is a local community project to provide basic necessities (for eg: food & school uniforms,etc.) to those who are struggling in our local communities. These include victims of domestic violence who have escaped from abusive partners.
We are currently helping almost 155 people, and this number is increasing!
We so often hear heartbreaking stories, where some of the families we have helped have kids yet no food to feed them with. There are many people who have no money and little food for several months. We try to fill in those gaps by working closely with Manchester Council, social care workers, out-reach workers, local college student councellors, mosques, etc. We are trying to help them where no one else can.
We need your help, Apart from the fees which gofundme charge for setting this page up, 100% of your donation will be used for the end cause, with no admin or travel costs being paid for by the donation.

This is a 100% non-profit project with everyone working on a voluntary basis.
