Unity Athletics Fundraiser

SIXTY gymnasts stood by their coaches side and walked out of our former gym, never to return. We had no “home”, no equipment, no uniforms, no business license, NOTHING! Our coaches worked literally around the clock for the last 6 weeks to obtain a license, a short term facility in White Oak Church to call home, equipment, uniforms... everrrrrything! Most of the above was done in just the first TWO weeks!! We practiced in about 4-5 different gyms with these coaches to keep the girls ready for competitions... just borrowed their facilities. Borrowed equipment from parents/friends to workout in Rec Centers... you name it. Parents offered their time and expertise (accounting, counseling, business management, web development, ride share, etc). These gymnasts wouldn’t be where they are today if it weren’t for these particular coaches. Truly. And these coaches wouldn’t have a job it weren’t for the girls following them into the unknown.LOYALTY, Trust, dedication, honor, persistence, respect, and commUNITY are the very backbone of what made Unity Athletics come to life. Our colors are black, silver and mint green because we were “mint to be”!

Sometimes life isn’t fair, makes no sense, bad things happen to good people, and is just down right messy, but you have two choices to make... get angry and storm out or get up and fight! Our gymnast family has taken the high ground and landed on our feet by sticking together. That is truly the greatest lesson our girls are learning from this experience.

We are in need of equipment, thank you for considering a donation for these amazing kids.
