Hi we are Yasser, Safia and Rabina, 3 local residents who are standing as Unity independents in Wakefield East.

We are not career politicians, we are residents, campaigners and community advocates who live here and care deeply about the future of Wakefield East.

We believe politics works best when it belongs to the community not party headquarters.

We are rasing funds to enable us to run a community focused campaign in Wakefield East, for the upcoming local elections. Unlike the national parties we do not have big donors or central funding to rely on and everything we do is powered by local people.

To compete fairly and make sure every household hears our message, we need to raise funds for:

● Printing and delivering leaflets across the ward

● Postal voter letters

● Campaign materials and signage

● Digital outreach to reach younger residents

● Public meetings and community engagement events
