Unity BMX: Building a new BMX team
Donation protected
Unity BMX was created by two families who have been part of the local BMX community for years. Our three boys have grown up riding and racing together, forming close friendships and learning valuable life lessons on and off the track. When the future of our previous team became uncertain, we saw an opportunity to build something new—not just for our own kids, but for other local youth and parents who share our passion for BMX.
Our team will be made up of 15 riders, including both youth and parents, who are eager to compete and grow together. Unlike many elite or long-standing teams that are closed to newcomers, Unity BMX is open, friendly, and focused on learning, growth, and community. We believe that every rider deserves a chance to belong, improve, and experience the thrill of racing, regardless of their background or skill level.
We’re raising funds to cover essential expenses for our first season, including uniforms, bike plates, a team trailer, race equipment, and state team registration fees. Our goal is to have everyone outfitted and ready before the first state race, so we can show up as a united team.
At Unity BMX, we ride with respect, grow with grit, and race with courage—guided by our coach, fueled by friendship, and driven by the belief that every fall is a lesson, and every member belongs. Our vision is to build a welcoming BMX community where every rider grows, belongs, and thrives—on and off the track.
We are also actively seeking sponsors to help support our team and plan to apply for 501c3 nonprofit status by the end of our first year. Your support will help us build a strong foundation for our team and create lasting opportunities for riders in our community.
