Little Caleb,  who is two years old,  and my nephew, was admitted to the hospital the morning of Friday April 17th after showing sings of not responding properly, unable to speak and extreme weakness. Right after he was admitted the Doctors order a series of few tests and discovered  his hemoglobin levels were extremely low at 3.2.  Baby Caleb was immediately required to receive blood transfusions as convulsions where already stricking his tiny little body. He fought through 6 convulsiones. 

He spent two days at the hospital in Mexicali and on Saturday night was transported by ambulance to the hospital in El Centro, CA., where was held for aproximately 10 hrs. Ariana, his mom, was able to cross the border with him in the ambulance but Moisés, his dad,  was not allowed to cross due to strick measures implemented with the Covid 19 situation.  Little Caleb was then transported to San Diego children’s hospital where he spent the next 3 days. 

Caleb lost his mobility on his left arm and leg. But we praise God and thanks to all your prayers his movement is coming back slowly. 

Our little Caleb was diagnosed with TEC (.Transient Erythroblastopenia of Childhood  - an acquired, self-limited, benign disorder characterized by a temporary suppression of erythropoiesis, resulting in reticulocytopenia in the blood and development of moderate to severe normochromic, normocytic anemia. .

We trust that Caleb will recuperate is entire mobility, his strength and that soon he will be running again to his parents arms! 

We are happy to say Caleb has been discharged from the hospital on Tuesday evening and is now home with his parents as a champ! 

Moises and Ariana are now facing a huge amount of bills from 3 different hospitals, ambulances and all sorts of tests and exams. 

This is why we have created this fundraiser campaign so we can altogether help the Inda-Blancarte family. More than ever they need our support and help so they can solely concentrate in the care of their little one and get him back to his normal life. The amount of bills they now owe total around $60,000 US DLLS.

EDITADA

El viernes 17 de Abril Caleb fue ingresado al hospital donde requirió de transfusiones de sangre al descubrir que sus niveles de hemoglobina estaban muy bajos y el pequeño comenzaba a convulsionar. Fueron 6 convulsiones con las que Caleb lucho. 

Caleb estubo internado en un hospital en Mexicali por dos días y el Sábado por la noche fue trasladado en ambialancia al hospital de El Centro, CA donde duró aproximadamente 10 hrs. El pequeño Caleb fue después trasladado al hospital de especialización de niños en San Diego, CA donde actualmente se encuentra hospitalizado y en recuperación. 

Caleb perdió su movilidad en su brazo izquierdo y su pierna derecha. Gracias a Dios poco a poco la ha estado recuperando pero aún no se puede parar, sostener, ni caminar. 

Se le hicieron varios estudios y examenes intension para descartar cualquier posibilidad de algún daño en su cuerpo ocasionado por la falta de sangre y oxygen pero gracias a Dios y a las oraciones de todos ustedes los exámenes no indican ningún posible daño.

Confiamos que poco a poco Calebcito cobrará energía, se recupera y volverá a correr a los brazos de sus padres. 

Moisés y Ariana ahora enfrentan una cantidad inmensa de biles de tres hospitales, ambulancias, doctores y todo tipo de examen y estudio realizado en el pequeño. 

Es por ello que hemos creado esta pagina para que  todos juntos podamos ayudar a la Familia Inda Blancarte a salir adelante! Deseamos poder aliviar la carga monetaria que están enfrentando para que ellos puedan concentrarse en solamente atender a su hijito y volverlo a su total normalidad.  Son alrededor de $60,000 dlls lo que va en biles médicos y desafortunadamente no cuentan con aseguranza médica. Confiamos en la grandeza de Dios y en la generosidad de todos ustedes!
