Help C.J. Ploegman rebuild!

My name is Josh Warnat and I am a local 32 plumber. CJ Ploegman is a fellow plumber and has been a member of Local 32 since 2003. In our trade, CJ has been an leader and innovator on the service side of the industry for nearly 20 years. CJ has always been committed to caring for customers, his crew, and providing first class mechanical service his entire career. CJ recently decided to take a huge risk and become an independent plumbing contractor. On December 21st he came down to the Local 32 business office and signed all the required documents to become a Union residential service shop. On the very same day CJ became a signatory contractor, CJ’s work truck and all his tools were stolen from the parking lot of a supply house. Through the efforts of many people on social media and local law enforcement, CJ’s vehicle was recovered on December 29th. The vehicle was severely damaged, contaminated with drug paraphernalia and may be totaled, and his tools were gone when the vehicle was located, insurance is not covering the stolen tools and may total the truck as well due to drug paraphernalia risk.

 

I started this GoFundMe because Local 32 and our community needs CJ to be successful. We need quality mechanics bringing our union values and craftsmanship to the residential market. Additionally, we need CJ to bring the same commitment to training  and the “Standards of Excellence”, to residential customers. Throughout his career, CJ has been known to set the example and has always put the customers and the crew first. I would like to encourage everyone to join me in returning some of that goodwill and fraternal devotion to making CJ whole and allow him to work. The future that CJ is building, is not only the future of his business and family, but also the future of our local and membership.
