Uniting Hearts for Jazmine

Dear caring souls,

I come before you with a heavy heart, as I share the journey of my beloved niece, Jazmine Espinoza. She's a fighter, my little warrior, and today, she faces the unimaginable challenge of being diagnosed with two brain tumors. I'm her aunt, and I can't begin to express how much she means to our family.

Since the day she was born, Jazmine has been a ray of sunshine in our lives. Her laughter and joy light up any room she enters. But now, as she faces these tumors with such bravery, I can't help but feel a mix of emotions - sadness for what she's going through and admiration for her strength. My heart aches knowing she has to endure this, but she has shown us that she won't back down from a fight.

Whenever I think of Jazmine I remember a family road trip to the beach. How she and her sister, Emma, would sing together through the whole drive. They would wake everyday and play in the pool from breakfast until 10:00pm.

Jazmine is exactly what you would think of when you picture a happy child full of innocence. Her energy and enthusiasm for life is matched only by her bubbly personality. She is sweet and thoughtful to others and exudes compassion that is beyond her years.

Sadly, the cancer has already taken her vision. She deals with the frustration of having lost her sight better than I, or many could. It is unlikely that she will regain her eyesight but the family is hopeful.

As her family, we have been doing everything in our power to help her. We've held her hand during doctor visits, whispered words of encouragement, and prayed for a miracle.
