Meet David and Carrie, and their incredible kids Ella, Jack and Ava.
Their lives have all just changed.
Late on Tuesday the 8th of January 2019 there was a devastating explosion at their home, causing David extreme injuries including severe burns and has left him fighting for life.
They aren’t sure what their future holds now.
David was treated by four ambulance crews, including specialist paramedics, and taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital where he still remains in a critical condition.
David is the bread winner of the family.
They have been told David is looking at a minimum of 6 months off work and at least 2 of those spent in hospital.
Let’s help make finances one less thing they have to worry about as they face months of hospital visits, rehabilitation and adjusting to whatever their new normal is.
