Hemos estado trabajando durante los últimos años para descubrir a los miembros de la familia Estrella. Este grupo de primos recién encontrados ha asumido este enorme proyecto para terminar lo que muchos han comenzado antes.
Estamos buscando recaudar fondos a través de esta página de GoFundMe que nos brindará la oportunidad de comprar pruebas de ADN para miembros de nuestra familia que viven en RD con escasos recursos. Además, parte del dinero recaudado también se utilizará para la restauración de hogares ancestrales e investigaciones genealógicas.
Nuestro objetivo es unir a los miembros vivos de la familia y rastrear el linaje Estrella. Actualmente, varios miembros de nuestra familia han colaborado con familiares tanto en los EE. UU. Como en RD en busca de registros ancestrales, fotografías y otros documentos que se han agregado a un árbol genealógico de Estrella en 23andMe. Estos esfuerzos nos han remontado al siglo XVIII con la identificación de Santiago, Jacinto y Juan Estrella, quienes eran de Santiago de Los Caballeros. Crearemos un libro de árbol genealógico que puede estar disponible para cualquier miembro de la familia Estrella.

Dear Family
We have been working for the last several years to unearth the members of the Estrella family. This group of newly found cousins has taken on this huge project to finish what many have started before.
We are seeking to raise funds through this GoFundMe page, that will afford me the opportunity to purchase DNA tests for members of our family living in DR with limited funds. Additionally, portions of the money raised will also be used towards restorations of ancestral homes, and genealogical investigations.
Our goal is to unite living members of the family and trace the Estrella lineage. Currently, several members of our family have collaborated with family both in the US and DR seeking ancestral records, photographs and other documents that have been added to an Estrella family tree on 23 and Me. These efforts have taken us back to 1700s with the identification of Santiago, Jacinto and Juan Estrella, who were from Santiago de Los Caballeros. We will be creating a family tree book that can be available to any member of the Estrella family.
