For 40 years, the US WATER POLO FOUNDATION has faithfully adhered to its mission: support athletes first. Since its inception in 1985, the US Water Polo Foundation provided financial support to every US Olympic Water Polo Team. With the Olympics returning to Los Angeles in 2028, let's do it again

First, a sincere thank you to those who have made a difference in the past and put athletes first by contributing to the US WATER POLO FOUNDATION’s annual fundraising campaign. Last year, by supporting the Foundation, each of your gifts became about six times larger as part of the US Water Polo Foundation’s grant of $150,000 for DIRECT TO ATHLETE SUPPORT, assigned equally between the Women’s and Men’s National Teams. For every donated dollar, nearly five additional dollars went directly to the athletes in a ‘check’ . . . no fees, no overhead, no excuses.

‘One Dollar equaled Six’ to the Athletes

As athletes and supporters know, our Women's and Men's US National Team members train every day to represent the United States, their communities, and their families in international competitions, and at the Olympic Games. As many of you personally know, this pursuit of excellence demands commitment, sacrifice, and teamwork.

Today, we urge you to make a gift — 100% of which will again be directed to support each athlete participating in the US National Teams’ training. And it adds up. Over the past 40 years, our support has totaled more than 4 million dollars.

AND we pledge to multiply every dollar contributed by September 30, 2025 again this year. We hope you will help us raise the bar and support the US WATER POLO FOUNDATION‘s efforts to provide higher levels of needed direct athlete support. By supporting the Foundation, you sustain a non-profit whose sole mission is to support our National Team athletes. Every contribution helps.

100% of the funds you donate to the US WATER POLO FOUNDATION are tax-deductible, to the fullest extent of the law. The US WATER POLO FOUNDATION is an all-volunteer organization so all of your gifts provide direct support to US Water Polo’s National Team athletes.
