We (Jessica Gomez, Katiuska Rivas, and Nubia Godoy) are organizing this GoFundMe in response to the devastating earthquake in Venezuela. We were born in Venezuela and are currently based in Toronto, Canada.

Seeing the impact on families and communities back home has deeply moved us, and we felt compelled to take action. A devastating earthquake has changed the lives of thousands of families in Venezuela. Homes have been destroyed, communities have been left without essential resources, and many people are in urgent need of food, clothing, medicine, and basic necessities.

Like many Venezuelans living abroad, we watched this tragedy unfold with heavy hearts. We knew we couldn't stand by without doing something to help.

In response, different groups and organizations in our community have come together to collect clothing, food, medical supplies and essential good to hep Venezuelans during this difficult time. The level of support and solidarity has been truly inspiring.

Our initiative is focused on helping move these collected donations from Canada to Venezuela as quickly and safely as possible. We are raising funds to cover the shipping and transportation costs needed to send these essential items to those in urgent need. This Go found me is coordinated by Permanently You (Jessica Gomez). Katiuska Rivas, and Nubia Godoy. Together, we are personally overseeing every step from collecting donations in Toronto, to shipping them to Venezuela, to ensuring they are deliver directly to the affected communities.

Now we need your help to get them to Venezuela.

Every dollar raised through this fundraiser will be used to cover the cost of shipping these humanitarian donations from Canada to Venezuela. We will pay the shipping companies directly to ensure the supplies reach their destination as quickly and safely as possible.

Once the shipments arrive in Venezuela, a trusted network of local volunteers will personally deliver the donations directly to the families and communities most affected by the earthquake. Our priority is to ensure that this aid reaches those who need it most.
