Hello everyone, my name is Lindsey and I’m lucky enough to call the Shaw family my friends. Tommy and his wife, Dina, are wonderful people and quite humble. (In fact, it took some persistence to get them to accept me creating this GoFundMe.) They can often be found at the ball field supporting their son Ryan. Tommy, when he was feeling better, was an extremely supportive and caring baseball coach. About 2 1/2 years ago, they were handed devastating news that Tommy has cancer. From that moment, he has been to several specialists, in and out of the hospital, and receiving frequent blood transfusions. Tommy is such a strong and brave man, and despite all of the tribulations he is facing, you will never see him without a smile.
