Hi my name is Angella and I'm raising money for my sister to get another service dog, her old one passed away when my son was born 6 years ago and has been without ever since. In those six years I have seen how much having a dog that helps can impact her life and now that I have children she watches my children a lot and having a service dog to help her do those things that she wanted needs to do is becoming more and more obvious every day. We appreciate anything you could give us and just know that not only will you be making a young ladies life astronomically better but you'll be helping her take care of her niece and nephew who she loves so much and allow her to do more things and be more a active participant in their childhood without things like a disability getting in her way.

She has had her disability since birth she has a rare form of ataxia which means she has an underdeveloped cerebellum which controls your balance and speech skills. While they had told us that she would never walk or talk and she has come miles from that diagnosis there are still things that she needs help with and as much as people can help or other services can they can't be there 24/7 like a dog can. She has had two service dogs during her life most of it during her school years and it really gave her a freedom that she would not have had otherwise. Now her disease is progressing so she needs the dog for more than ever before and for the last 5 years we have been actively trying many avenues to getting a service dog but everytime it fell through leaving my sister on a rollercoaster of emotions each time. Now that we have this amazing opportunity to work with our old service dog trainer with a dog that she knows will be a great fit for my sister it's an opportunity that we can't pass up however we have quite a bit of money that we need to make up. So any help that you can spare would be greatly appreciated it will go to not just getting the service dog but all the costs associated with it.
