Unite To Prevent & Fight Diabetes

Hi, my name is Bushra and I am fundraising for the diabetes cause, as I have lost both parents fighting the devastating effects of diabetes. I want to support qualified doctor to set up a community based diabetes clinic in Hafizabad, Pakistan.

Pakistan has one of the highest prevalence of diabetes as over 33million adults suffering from the disease, and 4 in 10 undiagnosed due to limited access to healthcare, lack of resources and education.

This fundraising will help improve access to diabetes care, offer regular check ups/monitoring, raise awareness and education on lifestyle advice, medication management, prevention of diabetes complications, self -care.

The funds will help ease the burden of diabetes in the developing nation.
