Unite the Gabin Family in Denver

My name is Teal Weisert and we are looking to raise emergency funds for our dear friends and amazing community members the Gabin Family.

The Gabin's are amazing, loving, and caring people that joined community here in Opheim two years ago from the Philippines to work at our school. Shara being a high school teacher and Jay working in Maintenace/bus driver, and after a year of being here they were so excited to be able to have one of their three children join them here in the states and attend school. Not too long after that they were overjoyed with the news that they would be gaining a new member of the family a baby girl.

However as of last Friday March 14th Shara had gone to the doctor due to not feeling well, the doctors ran some test put her on a portable heart monitor, the next day she received a call from the hospital stating that she needed to come to the ER right away for more emergency testing and to monitor the baby. After extensive testing the doctors decided that it was in the interest to emergency fly them to Denver.

There in Denver she is being joined by multiple of teams from the hospital such as Cardiology (heart), Pulmonology (lungs), OBGYN, and for baby NICU doctors/surgeons for the 29-week pregnancy.

While there she is going to have multiple procedures and continued testing not just for her but for baby as well.

All of what is happening with Shara and baby will keep them in Denver for an extended period of time. This is putting a lot of stress on their family being apart Shara being in Denver and Jay and their daughter being here in Opheim which is two states away.

We are looking to raise funds so that this beautiful family can focus on being together in this stressful time so that they do not have to worry about medical, personal, or travel expenses.
