UNITE! HELP GET KAREN BACK ON BOTH FEET

Hello, my name is Melody and I am assisting our team with this fundraising effort for an incredible and fabulous woman, KAREN REED. Karen is a long time resident of Sparks, NV. She has a long history of supporting the political field in NV with tireless effort over many years. She is also a 10-year veteran employee of the Reno Aces baseball team and a very active sports fan.

As of today, Karen has been in the hospital for 59 days! After ankle surgery, she contracted MRSA (methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus), a potentially deadly bacterial infection that is resistant to antibiotics. Our worst fears were realized when the infection penetrated her bones and amputation of her lower left leg was necessary. A prosthetic leg will be required for her to walk again, as well as the fact she has amassed an insurmountable amount of medical bills in her fight to survive.
