✈️ Help Captain Rocky Continue His Recovery

Our friend, husband, colleague, and teammate Captain Rocky Borgh—United Airlines pilot and lifelong ski racer—needs our help. After suffering two devastating strokes, Rocky is fighting for his life and his recovery. His best chance depends on staying in skilled care at Heritage Hall in Leesburg, VA.
But the cost is overwhelming: $14,000 per month, no longer covered by insurance. Together, we can make it possible for Rocky to keep receiving the therapy and nursing support he needs. Every donation, no matter the size, brings him one step closer to recovery and eases the heavy burden on his wife, Anna.

Rocky’s Story

Captain Rocky Borgh dedicated his life to keeping others safe in the skies. A respected United Airlines pilot, friend, and passionate ski racer, Rocky is now facing the toughest challenge of his own life.
While operating United Flight 53 from Zurich to Washington Dulles, Rocky suffered a sudden cerebral aneurysm and stroke mid-flight. Thanks to the quick action of his crew, a disaster was averted, and the plane safely diverted to Shannon, Ireland, where Rocky was rushed to the hospital.

Rocky fought hard and recovered enough to return home to Virginia for rehabilitation. But only weeks later, tragedy struck again—he suffered a second, devastating stroke. Since then, he has been in hospitals and care facilities, and he is currently receiving treatment at Heritage Hall in Leesburg, VA.

Today, Rocky is making slow but meaningful progress. Yet he cannot walk, speak, or perform most daily tasks on his own. His best chance for recovery is to remain at Heritage Hall, where his skilled nursing and therapy team provide the care he desperately needs.
Unfortunately, insurance only covers 120 days of inpatient treatment. That coverage has run out. The cost of continuing his care is $14,000 per month—an impossible burden for Rocky and his wife, Anna, to bear alone.

Rocky is a fighter, and those who know him—whether from the cockpit, the United Ski and Snowboard Club, or the North American Airlines Ski Federation—know he won’t give up. But he cannot do this without help.
Together, we can help Rocky keep fighting.

On behalf of Rocky and Anna, thank you for your love, your prayers, and your generosity.
