APPEAL FOR BENEVOLENT DONATION
In Loving Memory of Brother Jessie Castillo
Epsilon Chapter, 1968
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Alpha Phi Omega,
It is with deep sorrow and respect that we inform you of the passing of Brother Jessie Castillo, a lifelong servant-leader whose dedication to Alpha Phi Omega stands as a shining example of our cardinal principles—Leadership, Friendship, and Service.
Bro. Jessie began his APO journey as a proud member of Epsilon Chapter, Batch 1968. He went on to become one of the pillars of our alumni movement—serving as the organizer of APO Pangasinan Alumni Association in 1976, followed by the formation of APO California Alumni Association in 1980, now known as APO Greater Los Angeles. In the year 2000, he served as President of the Epsilon Overseas Alumni (EOA) Chapter, and he is also a chartered member of APO Hollywood Alumni Association.
Beyond formal titles, Bro. Jessie was known for his untiring lectures, guidance to fellow members, and his constant posting of APO-related news and updates, keeping our brotherhood informed and inspired.
He served APO beyond expectation, and his commitment never waned—not even in his final days. He lived and breathed service, making a lasting impact on all who knew him.
As we bid farewell to a true brother, we are appealing to all members of Alpha Phi Omega and their respective alumni associations to support this benevolent cause. Your donations will help:
• Provide Bro. Jessie with an honorable and dignified memorial service befitting his legacy—an event where his family and APO brethren can come together in unity to honor his life.
• Cover the untimely and unexpected funeral expenses now being faced by his surviving children, Jason and Pinky, during this most difficult time.
Let us show our solidarity and gratitude by coming together as one APO family. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will go a long way.
