Unite for Eliseo: Leukemia Support Fundraiser

Hi, I'm Ashley, and I want to share the incredible journey of my son, Eliseo, our brave warrior in the fight against childhood leukemia. At just 11 years old, on February 15, 2022, Eliseo was diagnosed with leukemia, marking the beginning of his courageous battle.

Eliseo's diagnosis completely transformed our lives. I became his full-time caregiver, a decision driven by love and necessity, but one that came at the cost of a significant reduction in our family's income. The fear of losing Eliseo's insurance coverage if I sought employment added to our challenges.

But through it all, Eliseo's resilience and determination have inspired us. Now, at 13 years old, his treatment is set to conclude on June 14, 2024. Each phase of his treatment brings its own set of challenges. Monthly medical visits, lumbar punctures with intrathecal chemo, and rounds of steroids on day one of each phase require a grueling 5-hour trip to Fort Worth. Yet, Eliseo remains unwavering in his determination to fight this battle.
