Help Us Bring Brian Uchizi Mwale Home
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Brian Uchizi Mwale, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend who left us far too soon. Brian’s presence was larger than life—his kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for his family and friends will never be forgotten.
Born in Lusaka, Zambia, Brian’s roots ran deep. Though he built a life in the U.S. with his mother, Tryness Mwale, his heart never strayed from his homeland—the place where his journey began, where his ancestors rest, and where his family longs to lay him to peace.
This loss is especially devastating for Brian’s mother, who, just last year in 2024, endured the heartbreak of losing her own sister. She had to travel back to Zambia to bury her, a journey that was not only emotionally difficult but also financially overwhelming. Now, she faces yet another unimaginable burden—the loss of her son.
As a community, we believe in the principle of Ubuntu—“I am because we are.” Ubuntu reminds us that we are all connected, and in times of sorrow, we come together to support one another. This is why we are asking, on behalf of Brian’s family, for your help in bringing him home to Zambia. No mother should have to carry this weight alone.
