"Unite for Anessa's Rare Medical Battle"

Hi! My name is Anessa. I'm fundraising for my personal wild ride that changed my life in a blink of an eye. I thought I had indigestion and it was bothering me for at least a month and a half but I would take a indigestion pill and be fine. Then 10 days prior it was getting worse and I noticed 3 days prior I was backed up. On the last night, I was in severe pain 4 fingers above my belly button and it was coming every couple minutes. I called MDLive and was advised to go to the ER. I was fast-tracked in and was in a room immediately getting hooked up. I was sent for a CT scan and ultrasound. The Dr thought for sure it was my gallbladder but it was not. He was shocked because he had never seen an adult patient with Intussusception. He had only read about it in books. Basically my small intestine was telescoping itself and there was a blockage. It can be fatal. He had already called the surgeon and she was on her way. I was admitted and off to surgery. Part of my small intestine was cut out and the tumor was sent for biopsy. Few days later, I'm told it's malignant and melanoma cancer, which is rare. I was sent for 3 MRIs...brain, thoracic, and lumbar. I've had a lump on my back for over a year and a half that I had checked but was never tested. I had X-rays and an MRI done on it in June 2022. I was told it was benign but never tested. But now, it could be the culprit and I have a team of drs and specialists deciding what to do next. I have a skin Dr appointment for full body scan and oncology appointment coming up. A PET scan and Home health starting. I have had a whirlwind of a week which was a 7 day stay in the hospital. I have immunotherapy ahead of me also. I'm ready to fight this battle! Please help me in any way possible...this is going to be a financial struggle and I would love to focus on healing.
