Unite Christopher's Family for His Final Goodbye

Christopher V. Hill, Professor Emeritus of History, environmental historian, historian of rock and roll, author, teacher, polymath, husband of 50+ years, father of two amazing men, grandfather of two amazing boys, citizen of the world, and last but not least father-in-law extraordinaire, died following a cardiac event on 04 March 2025 in his birthplace of Salt Lake City, UT. His legacy is impossible to describe in a paragraph; he brought honor, wisdom, and compassion to every encounter, and was the most generous person I’ve known (aside from his son).

We need to raise enough money for four people to travel to SLC for Christopher‘s funeral. Airfare as of today is $597 per ticket. Andrew, Rosemary, and their two sons — Christopher’s grandchildren — need to fly to Salt Lake City for Christopher’s funeral, and be with Carol, Christopher’s wife of nearly 51 years, during this unthinkably challenging time.
