Unite against human trafficking
Human trafficking is an urgent issue that is quickly becoming the fastest-growing criminal industry in the world, second only to drugs - did you know this? Not a lot of people realize it. Although this may not seem to be an issue in Canada, the reality is that in 2021 alone, there were an estimated 17,000 reported victims of trafficking in this country. In fact, in the last decade, 65% of police-reported trafficking incidents were located in Ontario, and 91% of victims were known to their traffickers. It is an issue that often targets those who are already marginalized, but its implications reach far beyond the individual victims; it has a ripple effect throughout entire communities, with devastating effects on families and future generations.
That is why we at Kingzound Music refuse to sit by and remain idle in the face of this atrocity. We are dedicated to spreading awareness of the issue and using our resources to create a brighter path for all those affected. We are passionate about uniting people without boundaries to fight this issue and make a difference. Our efforts include organizing Flashmob concerts and other entertainment initiatives to raise awareness and motivate action from our peers. By donating and joining forces with other like-minded individuals, we strive to put an end human trafficking in Canada and around the world. Join us and let's make a change together!
