Hi, I’m Mimi Bosika, and this fundraiser is for UNIREA 1986, the table tennis club started by my father, JON BOSIKA — the coach who put our small hometown of Uzdin, Serbia on the world stage.

For over 50 years, Jon Bosika didn’t just coach table tennis — he changed lives through his work.

He developed European, World, and Olympic medalists, coached the US Olympic team, mentored generations of athletes, and gave countless free lessons simply to grow the sport and uplift young people. He traveled to tournaments to coach players on his own dime and measured success in lives changed, not money earned.

Now, JON BOSIKA is doing it again — training a new generation of young Serbian players. And true to who he is, in the club’s first year, he is taking zero income for himself.
