Unique Sri Lankan Batik exhibition in London

Hi I’m Monica and I’m fundraising for my fantastic 85 year old Sri Lankan Batik teacher. She is coming to london for the first time to exhibit her amazing textile work which she creates in Sri Lanka. I first met Jezima in 2020, in Matara, Sri Lanka just before the pandemic. Since then I have worked with her and taken small groups of interested people to Matara to learn from Jezima. She has been producing her work and teaching others for the past 50 years.

I am delighted to be hosting this exhibition this October in Redlees Studios gallery in West London. We are self funding this event and would really appreciate any donations to support our considerable costs. Anyone pledging money would be very welcome to attend our workshop on 9th October free of charge.
