Unique Maui Tours Employee Relief Fund

Aloha!

This is Delphine, the owner of Unique Maui Tours and Explore Maui Nature, two (very) small private tour companies on Maui.

This past week, parts of Lahaina and Kula on Maui have been destroyed by wildfires, making hundreds of victims and thousands homeless. Words cannot describe the extent of the devastation and heartbreak we're feeling at this time.

This disaster is having ripple effects on the tourism industry, which has all but come to a screeching halt. While our guides have been lucky enough to not lose everything to the fires, we will likely be out of a job for months, all the while not qualifying for any kind of assistance since we weren't "directly" affected.

But you can't pour from an empty cup!

This fund will be divided among fixed business overheads and the wonderful guides that make our business so unique, keeping us afloat, so we can dedicate our time and energy to help our friends and community get back on their feet.
