Unique Educational Opportunity

My son, Bryan, has been nominated by one of his teachers to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Pathways to STEM, an Envision by WorldStrides program held in different locations around the United States. He will be attending a six-day residential program to represent his school district this summer.

He was selected for this opportunity because his teacher recognizes him as a student who already demonstrates exceptional maturity, academic merit, and leadership capabilities.

NYLF Pathways to STEM is designed to give future leaders an unprecedented opportunity while still in elementary school to further develop personal strengths and acquire the leadership and life skills needed for academic and career success. He will join other young students from around the region in intensive and engaging hands-on workshops focused on five skills that are essential to success: emotional awareness, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and goal setting.

Bryan will also have the opportunity to explore a future career in three exciting STEM pathways: Medicine, Engineering, and CSI (Crime Scene Investigation).

He will return from the program with increased confidence, independence, improved presentation skills, the ability to interact successfully with others, and a deeper understanding of using his talents and abilities while focusing on his potential career interests.
