Union Selecao was formed in 2018 by coaches Johnny and Jimmy David. At 5, 6, and 7 years old, the core of this team (mostly local union county players) set out on a journey with one unified goal: to play great team soccer. The team is focused on player development and teaching youth soccer players how to play the beautiful game of soccer the correct way! Through dedication, love of the game, hard work, commitment, and pure GRIT, these boys have developed a reputation for playing the best youth soccer in their region. Week in and week out, this group of young soccer players has competed against the best academies in the country and been invited to play in the most prestigious tournaments. There have been no shortcuts to their success, and their path has not always been easy, but these boys show up every day and persevere. This team's success is a sheer testament to the dedication of the coaches, the players, and the parents.

The boys now have an opportunity to play in two major tournaments this fall; opportunities like this are rare for town travel programs. Both tournaments require travel and significant financial investments from the parents. However, our boys have earned every minute of every opportunity they have received, and we want to see every one of our players have the opportunity to showcase their talent and hard-work on both a national and international level - they deserve it!
