Union County Fallen Officers Memorial

Tax deductible
On May 30, 2017, the Union County Law Enforcement community was devastated by the on-duty death of Summit Police Detective Matthew Tarentino. Sadly, his passing increases the number of Union County Law Enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our communities. The Union County Police Chiefs Association, in conjunction with the Two Hundred Club of Union County, are working together to honor all of the Fallen Officers of Union County.

At this time, the Union County Fallen Officers Memorial, located at the John H. Stamler Police Academy, does not allow for the addition of new names. After months of in-depth research and design proposals, we are proud to announce that we have selected a preliminary design concept for an entirely new memorial which will forever document and honor those who died serving others.

This design will create a solemn and enduring retreat for family, friends, and members of law enforcement – a proper place for reflection to honor our fallen heroes, as well as those who continue to wear the badge. We need your help to make this vision a reality.  The U.C.P.C.A. in partnership with the 200 Club of Union County is beginning several different fundraising programs all aimed at raising awareness and funds for this much-deserved dedication.  In addition to direct donations through gofundme, we also are commencing a brick sponsorship campaign, as well as engaging our corporate partners.
We hope to garner enough support to begin construction in early 2021, and any donation is appreciated.

Further Details will be available on our Website WWW.UCPCA.Org
