The Union Cemetery in Easton, Connecticut needs your help!
Historic Union Cemetery is located on the corner of the junction of routes 59 and 136 in Easton, next to the former Easton Baptist Church. Maintenance of the cemetery was traditionally funded by the sale of gravesites. Since there are no new gravesites for sale, the Union Cemetery Association relies on volunteers, and donations to fund perpetual care, which includes mowing, insurance, and general maintenance costs.
This year’s goal is to raise $4,000. Any additional funds raised will be used to replenish the perpetual care fund.
We appreciate the current partnership with Easton Scout Troop 66 for their assistance in organizing Scout-Lead cleanup days this year!
