On Saturday, September 19, the Nye family experienced a tragedy that no family should ever have to endure.

Jason Nye, his wife Christina, and their precious 7-year-old daughter, Cori, tragically lost their lives in a devastating accident. Their 10-year-old son, Jaceon, survived the crash and was airlifted to Duke University Hospital, where he is receiving care for critical injuries.

In a matter of moments, this sweet boy’s entire world changed.

As he fights to heal physically, he is also facing an unimaginable road ahead—the loss of his mom, dad, and little sister. There simply are no words for the magnitude of what he and the people who love him are walking through.

We are creating this GoFundMe to surround the Nye family with love and tangible support during the days, weeks, months, and years ahead. Funds raised will help with immediate medical expenses, funeral and memorial costs, ongoing care and rehabilitation, and the many future needs that will arise as their son recovers and his family navigates what comes next.
