Unifying for Change! Standing together for teachers and students! We are a team of passionate, dedicated teachers and related services professionals from across the Minneapolis school district who are running for union leadership of the Minneapolis Federation of Teachers (MFT 59).
We believe it is critical to have an interactive, professional, and positive relationship between union leaders, the union membership, and the leaders of MPS. It is time to change the negative way in which we have been functioning if we truly want to make meaningful progress in our district and schools.
Our team promises to listen to what members tell us is most important to them and for their students and, then, work together with members to bring it to life. We will restore members’ rights and communicate with integrity. Trust will be at the foundation of all of our relationships and interactions. There is much work to be done in Minneapolis Public Schools.
Our team believes we can be a strong and collaborative union while accomplishing the collective goals of ensuring all students are successful in school and in life. The members and students deserve nothing less. Please help us get elected by DONATING to our campaign today! We need to raise $10,000.
