Support East Durham College Students on a Work Experience Trip to Seville

Ten Uniformed Services students from East Durham College have been given the chance to take part in a valuable work experience placement in Seville, Spain. This trip will help prepare them for future careers in the police, fire service, NHS, armed forces, and other public service roles.

Most of these students come from low-income backgrounds, and due to recent changes in government funding, they must now contribute to essential travel costs. For some, this cost may prevent them from attending.

We are raising money to cover travel, accommodation, luggage fees, airport transfers, and other necessary expenses. Increased funding will improve the quality and safety of the journey, including the possibility of direct flights and appropriate luggage allowances.

Any support — from individuals or businesses — will make a genuine difference. Your contribution helps ensure that financial hardship does not stop these students from accessing an opportunity that will shape their confidence, skills, and future careers.

Thank you for supporting the next generation of public service professionals. Let’s make this experience possible for all ten students.
