Jerseys for Unified Sports

Hello!


Our names are Rylee Mitchell and Kendyll Humphreys, and we are seniors at Basha High School. During our 4 years at Basha, we have been responsible for researching a subject and coming up with an action plan designed to give back to the community. We have both been involved and invested in the special education program at our school by being active members of the Basha Unified Club as well as Peer Facilitators, which is an elective class where you help the students with disabilities with their school work.

Unified sports is a district-wide after school program where kids with disabilities join their peers to play sports such as flag football, basketball, soccer, and track. The Basha Unified team always gets old and recycled jerseys that have been used for years by other sports teams at Basha.

We are both club soccer players and going to compete collegiately next year, so soccer an important aspect of our lives. For our senior project, we want to raise enough money to purchase new, top notch Nike jerseys for the Basha Unified soccer team. In order to do so, we are looking to raise $3,500. This would give us enough money to purchase a set of 20 home and away jerseys that the soccer team would get to keep.

In response to your gratitude, the highest donor will receive a jersey of their own with the signatures of our unified team.  It can be displayed in your workplace or kept as a keepsake, and will act as a constant reminder of your truly impactful generosity. 

All donations will be collected through our GoFundMe account and go straight to the cost of the new uniforms. If you or your company are unable to donate online, we are more than willing to come pick up cash or check from your location.
