Queremos agradecer a todos los que nos acompañaron en la búsqueda de nuestros seres amados Skarlent Rodríguez y José Castro. Lamentablemente, hoy 29 de junio de 2026, ambos fueron encontrados sin vida… uno al lado del otro, juntos hasta el final.
No existen palabras suficientes para describir el dolor que sentimos, pero sí queremos expresar nuestra profunda gratitud por el amor, el apoyo y el esfuerzo que tantas personas brindaron para difundir información, ayudar en la búsqueda y reunir todo lo necesario durante estos días tan difíciles.
El proceso de búsqueda y la recuperación de los cuerpos ha sido extremadamente costoso. La familia de José ha sufrido pérdidas devastadoras: su papá, su abuela, su tío y su tía fallecieron en este terremoto. La familia de Skarlen tampoco ha podido trabajar desde el día en que recibimos la noticia. Por esta razón, hacemos un llamado a todos quienes acompañaron a nuestros niños en este camino tan doloroso, a compartir esta recaudación para ayudar a cubrir los gastos funerarios, que han aumentado significativamente debido a esta tragedia en Venezuela.
Cualquier colaboración, por pequeña que sea, es profundamente significativa. Y si no puedes donar, compartir esta campaña es una ayuda inmensa. Sobre todo, te pedimos que compartas lo maravillosos que fueron nuestros niños, el amor que dieron y la luz que dejaron en cada persona que tuvo la fortuna de conocerlos.

We want to thank everyone who accompanied us in the search for our beloved Skarlen Rodríguez and José Castro. Sadly, today, June 29, 2026, both were found without life, one beside the other, together until the very end.
There are no words to describe the pain we are living, but we do want to express our deepest gratitude for all the love, support, and effort so many people gave to share information, help in the search, and gather everything needed during these difficult days.
The search process and the recovery of their bodies has been extremely costly. José’s family has suffered devastating losses: his father, his grandmother, his uncle, and his aunt all passed away in this earthquake. Skarlen’s family has also been unable to work since the day we received the news. For this reason, we are calling on everyone who stood by Skarlent and José during these painful times to share this fundraiser and help cover the funeral expenses, which have increased significantly due to this tragedy.
Any contribution, no matter how small, is deeply meaningful. And if you cannot donate, sharing this campaign is an enormous help. Above all, we ask you to share how wonderful our children were and the light they brought into the lives of everyone who had the blessing of knowing them.
