Unidos for Nicaragua!

Unidos Middle School in Napa, California, is a dual-language school that believes in the power of community and global connections. This year, we’re coming together to support Lucrecia Olivas Rodriguez Elementary School, a school in Nicaragua that is in dire need of help.

Lucrecia Olivas Rodriguez Elementary School is struggling because their bathrooms simply do not work. Imagine being in school every day without a safe, clean, and functioning bathroom. Students and teachers are facing serious challenges, from unsanitary conditions to the lack of privacy and basic hygiene. For many students, this makes attending school difficult and uncomfortable.

At Unidos Middle School, we believe that education should be accessible and dignified for every child. That’s why we’re raising money to help fix and rebuild the bathrooms at Lucrecia Olivas Rodriguez Elementary School. The funds we raise will go directly to purchasing materials and supplies to build proper toilets, sinks, and plumbing, creating a clean, safe, and supportive environment for students and teachers alike.

Our goal is to raise $500.00 by 1/31/2025. Every dollar you contribute will go directly toward improving the facilities at this school, and no amount is too small to make a difference. With your support, we can make a lasting impact on these students’ lives and ensure they can go to school without worrying about basic hygiene needs.
