UNICEF Ireland - Gaza & Lebanon Emergency Appeal
Donation protected
Hello
I’m running my first marathon on Sunday 27th October 2024 in Dublin. I’ve only decided to fundraise at the 11th hour, so to give myself more time to do so, I’ve decided to target €1,000 by running 1,000km overall in 2024! (As of 26th October I’ve run 700km year-to-date while training for the Dublin Marathon, leaving me another 300km to go in Nov/Dec!)
I have decided to run in aid of UNICEF Ireland’s Gaza & Lebanon Emergency Appeal. UNICEF is on the ground in Lebanon and Gaza providing life-saving water, medical supplies and warm blankets to children in urgent need.
All donations will go directly to UNICEF to fund their essential work to help hungry, thirsty and threatened children in desperate need. Learn more about this worthy cause on their website below:
In Gaza, nine in every ten people have been forced from their homes, including almost a million children.
In Lebanon, in only a few weeks, the number of internally displaced people has risen to at least 1.2 million, including 400,000 children.
Please contribute whatever amount that you can.
Thank you,
