My name is LaMonté Ford, I’m 51 years old, and I’ve been living in my RV in West Oakland since my longterm community was displaced by the City of Oakland last year. I was born and raised in Oakland and I’d like to stay here, if possible.

This might be a bit much butI would appreciate your help in fundraising to buy a starter for recent purchased vehicle. I bought something that runs so I can move around and not be evicted by the city. It ran great for three days and guess what... the starter goes out. The starter cost 240 plus tax and I'm looking to raise just that amount. I still live with my two dogs, Rosie and Coco, whom I love very much. And I always try my best to be a good neighbor.
