Unhooked the Exhibition

Unhooked will showcase the work of 14 artists, many of whom have used art as a self-healing mechanism.  Our aim is to show people who don't understand how mental health issues feel that this is not just a case of 'being a bit mardy and unsociable'. This is a health condition we can't help, and a bloody debilitating one that takes over every bit of your life when the moods strikes it. This is an issue that absolutely needs that needs destigmatising.

The exhibition will run from October 8th - 17th 2021 at Yellow Edge Gallery, Gosport.

We will also be hosting a charity art auction. All profits will be donated to Solent Mind.

As Hampshire's leading mental health charity, Solent Mind are there to make sure that anyone with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn to for advice and support. Solent Mind helps 26000 people every year.
