Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

Thank you for taking a moment to read our story. Even sharing this is not easy, but we are incredibly grateful for your time, prayers, and support during this challenging journey for our family.

Our names are Dallas and Karissa McNabb, and we are raising funds for our dad, Toby McNabb, who is currently facing one of the toughest battles of his life, prostate cancer. Our dad is a loving father, husband, and friend, and someone who has always been the first to show up for others. By his side every step of the way his wife of 30 years, Sheryl McNabb, our mom his lifelong partner, caregiver, and biggest source of strength during this journey. He will need all the help and support as he focuses on healing.

He was diagnosed with prostate cancer and will be undergoing a radiation seed implantation surgery as part of his care plan. Radiation seed implantation involves permanently placing tiny radioactive seeds directly into the cancerous tissue for targeted treatment. Radiation treatment surgery has and will continue to require frequent appointments, ongoing monitoring, and has brought significant physical and emotional challenges. Our mom has been attending appointments with him, helping manage and coordinate appointments and needs, and providing constant encouragement. The side effects are fatigue, discomfort, and recovery time. This will make it difficult for him to maintain his normal routine and work responsibilities while he goes through the healing process.

In addition to the radiation surgery and ongoing medical needs, he will undergo follow up Doctor Appointments, medical procedures and consultations as part of his cancer treatment plan. These treatments are necessary and lifesaving, but they come with mounting medical bills and recovery needs that are impossible to prepare for. We will remain by his side advocating for his care, managing the household, and offering unwavering love and support. His focus right now must be on rest, healing, and following doctors’ orders.

We are asking for help to ease the financial burden that comes with this type of cancer treatment. Funds raised will go directly toward:

Pre-Op and Post-Op simulation procedures, Radiation surgery, treatment and continuing medical bills not fully covered by insurance,

Follow-up appointments, medications, and ongoing care, and

recovery related needs to support his health and comfort.
