My name is Matt and I've had the pleasure of working with Kerrick for 2 years. He has an infectious personality and a smile to go along with it. Tragically in the middle of the night he became a single father of a one year old. He lost a wife and an unborn child. He's in Florida but his family is out of state. He now has to figure out being a parent, managing a career and a household all on his own. His partner in life is gone!

We never notice the warning signs, we brush things off as they're ok. In todays society too many people don't recognize signs or its just the signs a too well hidden. People struggle every day! Some people smile thru the pain and troubles. When you reach out for help and get brushed off or dismissed too soon... Our society has a problem. Too many people can walk by and turn a blind eye on someone hurt because its not their problem.

All I'm asking is support to stabilize this man and his child. I'd also like to request everyone start paying attention to others. We fight this fight daily, mental health is real. Lets work on a fix and treat each other like family and friend. Say good morning to a stranger. Take time for your family. You could have a best friend suffering and never see a sign.
