Unexpected Surgery and Recovery

Hi everyone!
Our dear friend, Stephan Thomas, has experienced an unexpected medical emergency, and has to have surgery as soon as possible. He is currently being admitted into the ICU at a local hospital.
The co-pay for the hospital stay is currently $1200. This is a HUGE amount of money and entirely unexpected. I have added additional monies to the goal in order to help with any recovery needs after he is discharged.
Stephan has long served the LGBTQ+ community in Sacramento, and is currently a case manager at the LGBT Center. Additionally, he has worked as an advocate for people experiencing domestic violence/intimate partner violence.
If you know Stephan, you know that he is always ready with a great big smile, and an awesome hug. He is an amazing friend to so many!
