About
Over the past year, I have been struggling with my worst Crohn’s flare up since I was diagnosed when I was twelve. The flare up affected every aspect of my life while I finished my thesis at SMU and continued to disrupt my work schedule at my job at Rooster Teeth. The flare up lead to several ER trips, MRI’s, CT scans, Colonoscopies, three unexpected surgeries, hospital stays, and weeks missed from work.
I had surgery for fistulas twice, once in September 2018 and in December 2018 while staying a week at the hospital. Between September and December I continued to struggle with severe symptoms from Crohn’s that were not getting better after the infections where removed.
I have changed Crohn’s medicines three different times since the end of 2017, from Humira to Stelara, then to Entyvio in September. The medicines did not seem to be working even with a strict diet. I continued to have severe abdominal pains, was losing weight, and suffer from physical exhaustion.
Unexpected Surgery
Then on January 20, 2019 after an extremely bad episode, my wife and mother took me to the hospital and after the GI doctors looked at my MRI, endoscopy, and colonoscopy decided I needed to have a loop Ileostomy surgery done to the the severity of inflammation, ulcers, and stricture through my colon and ileum. The Ileostomy will be temporary and reversed later this year after my colon has healed.

Donations and Appreciation
With all of tests, surgeries, and hospital stays my medical bills have become a giant financial burden. All the donations will be used to take care of my medical hospital fees and future surgery this year.
Any donation is a blessing that will help me and my family get over this financial burden. Thank you.
