Hi, my name is Anissa and is Randy's wife. One week ago (February 7, 2021) Randy went into the er with sharp pains and discovered his gall bladder needed to be removed. They admitted him into the hospital and had surgery on Wednesday, February 9th. The surgery went as planned and sent Randy home but it was a treacherous night and ended up calling the squad the next morning (Thursday, February 10th) to take back to the hospital where he was admitted in the special care unit and ended up discovering that he had an infection that he was becoming septic from the surgery and once again was in the operating room with a more extensive surgery and to find out his bowel was punctured and will have a longer hospital stay and recovery period. I have been staying with as much as I can and we discovered that where he worked he is just short on days for the insurance to kick in. Ugh! With no income or insurance things will be tight. We are not ones to ask for help and I'm sure he will be upset with this but I'm looking after us. Medical bills are going to be such an expense (around $100,000) but need to keep our house going too. April is here and still battling with so many other issues that keep popping up due to these Surgeries.  Staying at home is not easy for him but not going to lie grandkids love having him home.   Thank you to everyone as we continue to go forward and we will beat this one way or another.
