My wife became sick a week ago Sunday, and last Thursday we had a colorectal cancer diagnosis. Stage 4. The cancer is in her colon, her liver, her adrenal glad and her lymph nodes. And that's all before we get the PET scan. Since the blockage emergency seems to be well handled, and her labs are good, she has come home. In about two weeks, I will know how hard of a fight my wonderful girl has ahead of her. I have a job that I love, however my wife is the main bread winner. She is so scared and stressed about leaving us, and worried about the fact that I have her dad and our two kids to try to take care of all by myself if we get the unthinkable diagnosis. I didn't know how much to put to ask for help for, I just figured this amount will put a dent in the initial hospital start.
