Unexpected Passing of Mother/Inspirer/Friend

Over President’s weekend, Susan Farley had emergency surgery for an aneurism. On March 5th, she went to Santa Barbara for what was thought to be a routine checkup, because she had been doing okay.  While with the doctor, she exhibited alarming symptoms, and the doctor put her in a wheel chair and took her right to Cottage Hospital.  They found blood in her lungs.  They did some kind of surgery.  She went into cardiac arrest twice.  She died early morning on March 6th. 

Susan was a beloved mother, grandmother, colleague, friend and committed Professor at Allan Hancock College. She went above and beyond her duties for her students, and the result: she inspired many. She will be greatly and fondly missed.
