Unexpected passing of Mathieu Miron
Donation protected
Today we were forced to say goodbye to our beautiful grandson, cousin, nephew and son, Mathieu Miron. This was an unexpected and devastating blow to my sister, Beth Miron (Ames) and Mathieu's dad John Paul Miron.
Mathieu began his journey just short of 17 years ago when he entered this world 16 weeks early. He suffered many setbacks but persevered through them all. One of those setbacks was brain bleeds, which ultimately led him to requiring a shunt to help relieve fluid on his brain.
On Saturday, March 2/24, Mathieu was admitted to Belleville Hospital . Early Sunday morning he stopped breathing and was intubated. Mathieu was on the full support of a ventilator and transferred to Kingston. By Sunday afternoon it was determined that Mathieu's shunt had malfunctioned which was causing pressure to the area of his brain that controlled everything including his breathing. Irreversible damage was caused that Mathieu's body could not recover from.
To know Mathieu was a gift. He loved life, and that smile could melt any heart. Mathieu was able to live his best life with the unconditional support and love of his mother, Beth and father John Paul.
I would love for Beth and John Paul to be able to process and grieve Mathieu's passing without worrying about expenses.
If you are in a position to help by donating, please consider it. Any amount is helpful, and appreciated.
